Over the last few years, work and hiring trends have been developing at speed and talent experience platform HireVue is a company at the forefront of this evolution.

Following a turbulent news cycle where HireVue’s AI technology had been misrepresented in the media, 33Seconds was on-boarded as the company’s retained PR agency, in order to shift perceptions across the UK and European media.

By focusing media relations activity on consistent positive storytelling and insightful thought leadership content, 33Seconds were able to highlight the positives of using technology to automate workflows and improve scale-up hiring.

This included devising and implementing HireVue’s first ever influencer campaign celebrating ‘100 years of the interview’, which achieved over 1 million views; as well as managing liaison for a BBC documentary focused on AI in recruitment.

Over a 20 month period, over 150 pieces of coverage were secured, from national and international outlets such as Forbes and The Daily Mail to HR industry media including OnRec, HRNews and Personnel Today.

When evaluated, the coverage also indicated a significant uptick from negative to neutral & positive media sentiment.
