Project: Art Is…

Art is essential to our lives and during the pandemic, we’ve collectively read more books, listened to more music and watched more TV and films than ever before. To each individual however, art has a personal meaning, which is a concept we set out to explore in order to drive awareness of Sky Arts becoming a free-to-air channel.

To do this, we created a sequence of static, video, animation and UGC assets which posed the question: ‘What does art mean to you?’ encouraging engagement and conversation via social platforms. The campaign included commissioning a national survey for editorial media, creating illustrated video assets using voice-overs from Sky Arts Ambassadors and challenging a range of influencers to live without art for 24 hours in our #ArtIs_ challenge.
