Sky Art’s ambition is to drive participation, inclusion, and representation across every art form and our goal is to help amplify this message via the company’s social channels. 

To achieve this, we devised four primary social formats, including: showcasing the 'wow' moments you see on #ArtTok; educational content about how to create art; tours of creative spaces, and how accessible art can be in all shapes and sizes of home; as well as inspiring interviews between artists from different backgrounds to showcase diversity.

For the recent #CelebratingHockney campaign, we collaborated with Hockney friends and admirers - Tom Daley, Edd Kimber, and HatchArt - to produce recreations of Hockney’s most celebrated and inspirational work through the mediums of knitting, cake and canvas art.

The aim was to capture the attention of audiences beyond the traditional arts while encouraging user-generated content and further engagement with the #CelebratingHockney hashtag.
